In 2011, Anthony Rugiero made a vow, that in gratitude for everything his family had been given, they would spend the rest of their lives giving back.
That promise became the Rugiero Promise Foundation: a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals and families across our community and beyond. Our focus is on fighting diabetes. Supporting the research, the organizations, and the people closest to a cure for both Type 1 and Type 2.
Over the past decade, we’ve distributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to diverse charitable partners. We’ve grown a community of donors, sponsors, and advocates who believe that a better tomorrow is worth fighting for today.
This is a family mission. And we’re honored you’re part of it.
Every contribution helps advance our mission. Through partnerships with organizations
dedicated to diabetes research, patient support, education, and community care, your
generosity helps create meaningful impact for individuals and families affected by diabetes.

The University of Michigan’s Diabetes Research Center calls the Rugiero Casino Royale a vital funding source for diabetes research.
The event honors Antonio Rugiero Sr. and will be held this year in Plymouth. It is the foundation’s mission to make this event a household name in finding a cure for diabetes.
The Casino Royale is where our community shows up. But it's only one chapter of our story.
